For Afisha MIR magazine I commissioned and published more than 500 projects working with internationally renowned photographers, I amassed a database of more than 400 photographers from 140 countries, and helped elevate the brand’s status from Russian to global.
I was a part of the launch team for L’Officiel Voyage Russia where I was in charge of the magazine’s visuals. After helping launch a new brand I later joined Vogue Russia as senior photo editor to work with one of the world’s best-known publishing houses.
As a freelance photo editor, I have handled dozens of projects, from making real estate promos to finding pictures to be printed as wallpapers for a hip office space to creating illustrations for an educational mobile app. Always sticking to international copyright laws, I have helped find and get the right pictures for countless publications, feature stories and photo essays.
I’ve worked with major photography agencies, the best photobanks, national and personal archives and some of the world’s finest photographers. I have organized and produced numerous reportage, lifestyle and portrait photoshoots. I have lectured and taken part in portfolio reviews at major photo festivals such as Visa pour l’Image in Perpignan’, Les Rencontres d’Arles, the Angkor Photo Festival, TPW Passion & Profession, LOOK3, Paris Photo, and many more.
Working with magazines, photo agencies, art galleries and book publishers, I also scout for captivating photo projects and help discover exciting new photographers.
I consult for print and digital media, independent photographers, publishers, and design studios.
